Local Council Approves New Coastal Walk Upgrades

The Waverley Council has announced a major upgrade to the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, aiming to improve safety, accessibility, and environmental sustainability.

“This is one of the most iconic walks in Australia,” said Mayor Paula Masselos. “These enhancements will ensure more people can enjoy it safely for years to come.”

The $15 million project includes new lighting, stair reinforcements, native plant restoration, and wheelchair-accessible viewing platforms.
